The dual lamp mode system provides
superior brightness and many hours of continuous operation
The
GT6000 supports SXGA+ (1400x1050) real,
and outstanding brightness of 5,300 ANSI lumens is achieved.
By introducing the 1.4' Poly Silicon
TFT LCD panel (SXGA+ (1400x1050) real)
with the newly developed Micro Lens Array (MLA) and the 275
W DC dual lamp mode, outstanding brightness of 5,300 ANSI lumens
(using the GT20ZL lens) is achieved.
It is also possible to provide high brightness projection at
a maximum of 10,600 ANSI lumens through a stack configuration
with two projectors.
With Advanced AccuBlend, NEC's unique resolution technology,
images can be displayed in higher order resolutions up to UXGA
(1600 x 1200 pixels).
New
LSIs for sharper, more vivid image quality
This projector uses two new NEC
LSIs. The first is a 10-bit video decoder LSI that significantly
lowers cross colours and cross luminance caused by three dimensional
Y/C separation (with NTSC signals), and the second provides
a Contrast Enhancement function that uses the characteristics of the
human eye to achieve picture quality with a greater feeling
of contrast. For optimum quality with movies and video, the
projector also incorporates a high performance LSI for de-interlacing
using Faroudja DCDiTM technology. The
result is reproduction of all images with extremely high contrast
(700:1) and overall quality.
The
long life lamp (GT60LPS) running in Eco mode provides many hours
of continuous operation.
The long life lamp can be used
in conjunction with either of the dual lamp modes: Normal mode
and Eco Mode.In the Eco Mode or with the long-life lamp, the
projector affords many hours of continuous operation and drastically
reduces the cost and labour of replacing lamps. This projector
is the best choice for the diverse needs of graphic artists
or for controlling and monitoring where the projector will be
in use for many hours - mini theatres, halls, art galleries,
museums, libraries and video libraries - anywhere high definition
images with outstanding brightness are required.
3D
Reform simply corrects distorted images projected from an angled
position*
The 3D
Reform function, using the newly developed ASIC which implements
NEC's unique image conversion technology, corrects 3D distortions,
not obtainable with four direction trapezoid correction, to
project more beautiful images. Distorted images can be corrected
by clicking the four corners of the image on the screen with
a USB mouse, operating the remote controller, or the button
on the main unit.
Trapezoidal distortion can be corrected vertically +/- 40 degrees
and horizontally +/- 30 degrees. Since the correction can be
made in one-degree increments, precision image correction is
possible.
Since the corrected data can be stored, you can display square
images anytime in places, such as a conference room, where the
projector is permanently installed.
With the Geometric Correction
function capable of projecting square images onto cylindrical
or spherical screens, applications for large-sized projection
are expanded.
* Under some environmental conditions, the projector may not
set up.
Electric
Zoom and Focus, Power Driven Lens Shift function (in both vertical
and horizontal directions) is standard and five types of optional
lenses are available.
In
addition to the Zoom and Focus function for adjusting the zoom
and focus of the projection lens, the Power Driven Lens Shift
function adjusts the position of the projected image without
changing the position of the projector. Since the lenses can
be shifted in both the vertical and horizontal directions and
the lens position for the respective Zoom, Focus, and Lens shift
input signals can be individually stored in the memory, projector
installation is more flexible.
* The Power Driven Lens Shift function is not available for
the GT10RLB lens and the GT06RLB lens.
Nine types of optional lenses from the short focus type to the
long focus type are available. Choose the optimum lens according
to the installation location of the projector, such as a conference
room, lecture hall, concert hall, or event venue.
* The amount of shift and brightness may vary depending on the
lens used.

this. The respective values are design values and may contain
errors within +/- 5%.
This
supports wireless and wired LAN. The lamp lifetime and error
messages will be sent via e-mail notification.
The LAN port (RJ-45) is standard.
By using a commercially available wired LAN cable (Ethernet
cable), collectively manage and control the projector from your
PC through a network. If you install the optional wireless LAN
card (SWL-2100N) in the PJ card slot on the projector and set
up a network connection, you can project PC images supporting
wireless LAN without using a video signal cable. For a conference
using multiple PCs, it is not necessary to connect cables, and
the speaker does not need to move. Furthermore, the Mail Notification
Function transmits information about the lamp lifetime or error
messages from the projector to three destinations for effective
maintenance services.
The Mail Notification Function and the HTTP Server Function
are not available for Macintosh computers.
<For details of the LAN connection>
USB
memory and a USB memory card reader can be used.
A flash memory card and USB memory
can be connected to project images stored in USB memory or used
as a protection key. Furthermore, by connecting a commercially
available USB memory card reader, you can handle data in various
kinds of memory cards or use various kinds of memory cards as
a protection key. For available USB memory and USB
memory cards, please click here.
A variety
of input ports and a comprehensive array of system control interfaces
This projector supports input
signals including BNC, DVI-D, analogue RGB, component, S-video,
and composite, as well as the high definition standards of BS
broadcasting (D1 to D5). For system control, it is possible
to configure the system to the users needs including operation
and control of the status of the projector through USB, the
link mode, and wireless and wired LAN (RJ-45) as well as RS-232C.
Furthermore, two optional slots accommodate optional SDI and
RGB boards for superior system expandability.
